Mobile devices and shopping go hand in hand and in-store mobile
shopping is becoming much more popular. Yesterday’s post dealt
with how tablets are changing the way people shop. Mobile devices
overall are also changing customer’s in-store experience.

Mobile shoppers offer you a great opportunity and a pose a challenge. Smart phones and tablets give them ability to check prices, reviews and look for a better deal. Things like mobile coupons and reputation management can help you draw customers from your competitors and price matching can assist in keeping shoppers already in your store. If you are using QR Codes in-store, be sure you have instructions for those who may not be avid scanners. Also, continually evaluate what the codes are linking to.
