Shopping activities done via tablets over the holiday weekend:
- 37% of tablet owners researched products or compared prices
- 26% made a purchases
- 25% looked up retailer information
- 19% redeemed coupons
- 18% used apps to research or purchase goods & services
What Does This Mean To You?
Whether consumers are in their living room, in your store or in the local coffee shop, portability and a larger screen size makes tablets the perfect vehicle for mobile shopping. Check with your developer to see if there is a tablet only version of your site that can be rolled out. Much like mobile, these sites only display on tablets. Also, in app advertising can also give your business a boost. Most apps have limited advertising positions and give you an excellent way to create awareness and connect with customers.
